What is this puja In this puja, Maa Saraswati is installed and books, pens and musical instruments are worshipped. Yellow clothes and yellow flowers are used especially. Students, teachers and artists perform it with devotion. Usual samagri required • Idol or picture of Maa Saraswati • Yellow or white cloth • Yellow flowers • Books and pen • Roli, mauli and akshat • Prasad of kheer or boondi • Incense, lamp and camphor The full samagri list will be finalised after consulting the pandit ji. Auspicious date / muhurat Vasant Panchami is the most well-known date; for other occasions, the muhurat is fixed with the pandit ji.

Sankalp is taken, followed by Ganpati and kalash puja.

Step 5

The aarti of Maa Saraswati is performed.

Step 6
