Formal worship of Maa Lakshmi and Ganesh ji on the evening of Diwali, with prayers for prosperity at home and in business. About 1.5 hours. Dakshina / Service charge: Starting from ₹2,500 (pandit ji included). The cost of puja samagri may be separate; this will be clearly explained at the time of booking. What is this puja On the evening of Diwali, the home and business premises are decorated with lamps to welcome Maa Lakshmi. The puja includes installing Ganesh-Lakshmi, kalash puja and aarti. Business families also worship their account books and safe on this occasion. Usual samagri required • Idol or picture of Ganesh-Lakshmi • Kalash and coconut • Khil-batasha and sweets • Lotus or other flowers • Roli, mauli and akshat • Lamp, ghee and wicks • Coins and paan-supari The full samagri list will be finalised after consulting the pandit ji. Auspicious date / muhurat The Pradosh Kaal of the Diwali Amavasya is considered auspicious; the pandit ji will give the correct time after checking the panchang.

Process / Steps

Step 1

Sankalp is taken and Ganesh-Lakshmi are installed at a sacred spot.

Step 2

Kalash puja is performed and lamps are lit.

Step 3

Maa Lakshmi is invoked and offered lotus or flowers, roli and akshat.

Step 4

Khil-batasha, sweets and fruits are offered as bhog.

Step 5

Account books or the safe are worshipped, if required.

Step 6

The puja concludes with aarti and prasad. It may vary slightly by tradition.
