The complete Vedic wedding rites, from Kanyadaan to Saptapadi, conducted by a pandit ji. Duration is about four hours. Dakshina / Service charge: Starting from ₹15,000 (pandit ji included). The cost of puja samagri may be separate; this will be clearly explained at the time of booking. What is this puja This sanskar includes rituals such as Ganesh puja, Kanyadaan, Panigrahan, havan, the seven pheras and Sindoor daan. It marks the beginning of the sacred bond between two individuals and two families. The procedure may vary slightly by region and family tradition. Usual samagri required • Havan kund, samidha and cow ghee • Laja (puffed rice) and havan samagri • Kalash, mango leaves and coconut • Roli, mauli, akshat and turmeric • Sindoor and mangalsutra • Flower garlands • Clothes and the gathbandhan dupatta The full samagri list will be finalised after consulting the pandit ji. Auspicious date / muhurat The wedding muhurat is fixed with the pandit ji or the family astrologer after consulting the panchang and kundli.

Process / Steps

Step 1

Sankalp is taken, followed by Ganpati, Gauri and kalash puja.

Step 2

The Kanyadaan and Panigrahan rituals are performed.

The fire is lit and havan and Laja Homa (offering of puffed rice) are performed.

The bride and groom take seven pheras around the fire and repeat the seven vows.

The Sindoor daan and mangalsutra rituals are observed.

The ceremony concludes with the blessings of the elders and aarti. The order may vary slightly by tradition.
