A formal puja for the peace of the eight directions and worship of Vastu Devta in a new home or building. About three hours with a pandit ji. Dakshina / Service charge: Starting from ₹7,500 (pandit ji included). The cost of puja samagri may be separate; this will be clearly explained at the time of booking. What is this puja In Indian tradition, a building is seen as connected with Vastu Purush and the deities of the directions. This puja remembers, worships and performs havan for all of them. Its purpose is to pray for peace and balance in the home. Usual samagri required • Kalash, mango leaves and coconut • Roli, mauli and akshat • Havan kund, samidha and havan samagri • Cow ghee and camphor • Flowers and flower garlands • Navadhanya (nine types of grains) • Sweets and fruits The full samagri list will be finalised after consulting the pandit ji. Auspicious date / muhurat The auspicious date and muhurat are fixed with the pandit ji after looking at the condition of the building.

Process / Steps

Step 1

Sankalp is taken, followed by Ganpati and kalash puja.

Step 2

Vastu Purush is invoked and worshipped.

Step 3

The deities of the directions are worshipped in order.

Step 4

The Navagraha are remembered and havan is performed.

Step 5

Aarti is performed after purnahuti.

Step 6

The puja concludes with the distribution of prasad. The order may vary slightly by tradition.
