An elaborate Rudrabhishek conducted by several pandit ji, for special occasions and deep devotion. Duration is about 3.5 hours. Dakshina / Service charge: Starting from ₹11,000 (pandit ji included). The cost of puja samagri may be separate; this will be clearly explained at the time of booking. What is this puja Here, Lord Shiva's abhishek is performed in greater detail and in the presence of several pandits. The sequence of Rudri recitation and worship is longer. Devotees have it performed on special occasions or to pray for Shiva's grace in difficult times. Usual samagri required • Shivling or picture of Lord Shiva • Gangajal, milk, curd, ghee, honey and sugar • Bel patra, dhatura and flowers • Bhasma, sandalwood and rudraksha • Havan samagri and samidha • Roli, mauli and akshat • Incense, lamp and camphor The full samagri list will be finalised after consulting the pandit ji. Auspicious date / muhurat Sawan, Maha Shivratri and Mondays are considered auspicious; the number of pandits and the muhurat are fixed with the pandit ji.

Process / Steps

Step 1

Sankalp is taken, followed by Ganpati, kalash and Navagraha puja.

Step 2

Lord Shiva is invoked.

Step 3

Several pandit ji together perform the elaborate abhishek with the Rudri recitation.

Step 4

Bel patra, flowers and bhasma are offered.

Step 5

Havan and purnahuti are performed as per tradition.

Step 6

The puja concludes with aarti and prasad. The order of rituals may vary slightly by tradition.
