Katha and puja of Lord Vishnu in his Satyanarayan form, performed for peace and happiness at home. An event of about 2.5 hours with a pandit ji. Dakshina / Service charge: Starting from ₹3,500 (pandit ji included). The cost of puja samagri may be separate; this will be clearly explained at the time of booking. What is this puja In this puja, Lord Satyanarayan is worshipped and the pandit ji narrates the katha. After the katha, aarti is performed and prasad is distributed. Family and neighbours gather and take part with devotion. Usual samagri required • Chowki and yellow cloth • Picture of Lord Satyanarayan or Vishnu • Tulsi leaves and flowers • Panchamrit (milk, curd, ghee, honey, sugar) • Bananas, fruits and panjiri or sooji halwa • Paan, supari and coconut • Roli, mauli and akshat The full samagri list will be finalised after consulting the pandit ji. Auspicious date / muhurat Purnima is considered customary; for other occasions, the muhurat is fixed with the pandit ji.

Process / Steps

Step 1

Sankalp is taken, followed by Ganesh and kalash puja.

Step 2

Lord Satyanarayan is installed on a chowki and worshipped with panchamrit.

Step 3

Tulsi leaves, flowers and fruits are offered.

Step 4

The pandit ji narrates the katha while the family listens in peace.

Step 5

Aarti is performed.

Step 6

Prasad of panjiri or halwa is distributed. The order may vary slightly by tradition.
