The auspicious ritual of entering a new home, including Vastu puja. The pandit ji conducts the Griha Pravesh according to tradition. Duration is about 2.5 hours. Dakshina / Service charge: Starting from ₹6,500 (pandit ji included). The cost of puja samagri may be separate; this will be clearly explained at the time of booking. What is this puja This puja is performed before starting to live in a new home, to express gratitude to the deities and seek their blessings. It includes worship of Ganpati, kalash and Vastu Devta, along with a havan. It is regarded as an auspicious start to a happy family life. Usual samagri required • Kalash, mango leaves and coconut • Roli, mauli and akshat • Havan kund, samidha and havan samagri • Cow ghee and camphor • Flowers and flower garlands • Milk, rice and jaggery • Sweets and fruits The full samagri list will be finalised after consulting the pandit ji. Auspicious date / muhurat The auspicious day and muhurat for Griha Pravesh are fixed with the pandit ji after consulting the panchang.

Process / Steps

Sankalp is taken and Ganpati puja is performed.

Kalash is installed and Vastu Devta is worshipped.

The Navagraha and the deities of the directions are remembered and worshipped.

Havan is performed and purnahuti is offered.

After door puja, the family enters the house in the auspicious order; boiling milk in the kitchen is also a tradition.

The puja concludes with aarti and prasad. The order may vary slightly by tradition.
