Traditional worship of Lord Ganesha before the start of any auspicious work. A 1.5-hour puja with an experienced pandit ji, at your home or chosen venue. Dakshina / Service charge: Starting from ₹3,500 (pandit ji included). The cost of puja samagri may be separate; this will be clearly explained at the time of booking. What is this puja In Hindu tradition, Lord Ganesha is revered as the remover of obstacles and the first deity to be worshipped. That is why he is remembered and worshipped first before every auspicious undertaking. This puja is a beautiful way to begin something new with devotion and a calm mind. Usual samagri required • Idol or picture of Lord Ganesha • Roli, mauli and akshat • Durva grass and flower garland • Modak or laddu • Paan, supari and coconut • Incense, lamp and camphor • Gangajal and kalash The full samagri list will be finalised after consulting the pandit ji. Auspicious date / muhurat Ganesh Chaturthi is considered especially auspicious; for other occasions, the date and muhurat are fixed with the pandit ji.

Process / Steps

Step 1

Sankalp is taken, followed by achaman and purification.

Step 2

The idol or picture of Ganesha is installed and invoked.

After a bath with water or panchamrit, clothes, roli, sindoor and sandalwood are offered.

Durva, flowers and modak or laddu are offered as bhog.

Step 5

Aarti of Lord Ganesha is performed.

Step 6

The puja concludes with a prayer for forgiveness and distribution of prasad. The order may vary slightly by tradition.
