About This Program
The Diploma in Emergency Medical Technology (EMT) trains students to give fast, safe care at the scene of an accident or medical emergency and during transport to hospital. Learners study basic life support, trauma care, patient assessment and ambulance handling, and practise in an emergency department and ambulance service.
